Someone Calls Me Mommy is an anthology of poems from the perspectives of a mother and her child written & illustrated by Rupa Mehta.

"In 2019, I lost my mom the same year that I had my first child. Fortunately, my daughter reminds me so much of my mom. Their uncanny similarities helped me tap into my daughter’s emerging voice and inspired me to write and illustrate poems about early motherhood from both of our perspectives.
